I have shot the Hyperion on my SFAR, Virtus, and Thoroughbred Armament 14.5”. The SFAR gasses my face heavy, and I mean heavy, after just 2-5 rounds. The Virtus is noticeably gassy but not terrible. The 14.5” AR from Thoroughbred is awesome, little gas to the face but it is a little more “tuned” with a VLTOR system.The advantage the 20" has is a rifle gas system. 16" will do 1k with the right ammo and in the right conditions, but it is definitely at a disadvantage to the 20". Both of those are pretty short barrels. Would really use the ruger SFAR for long range but the 16” with the PA 3x prism is amazing. If you want something lightweight but possibly more fragile and higher recoil then that’s for you. Remember Ruger made this specifically to make it more AR15 like and much lighter. I haven’t shot a PSA AR10, but I do have a PSA AR15. They are great for the price, and I haven’t had an issue with my 15.
